  1. Workbench Compugraphic Fonts 1 (Created November 25, 1992)

  4. These fonts have been converted from Postscript Type 1 format
  5. using Gold Disk's FontManager.  Use Commodore's Fountain utility
  6. in the 'System' drawer to convert them to Workbench 2.0
  7. compugraphic format.  The documentation for Fountain is found in
  8. Appendix D of the Release 2 'Using the System Software' manual.
  9. This first set consists of display typefaces suitable for
  10. announcements, advertisements, etc.  The supplied fonts are:

  12. BalletEngraved     Fancy Broadway or Marquee typeface
  13. MarkerFeltThin     Handwritten fine point felt tip marker
  14. OregonDry          Bold non-cursive brushstrokes
  15. ReliefDeco         Squarish embossed look
  16. TejaratchiCaps     Raised quasi-metallic letters
  17. Tribeca            Bold Art Deco typeface commonly used on
  18.                    paperback editions of mysteries
  19.  
  20. Where possible I have included the original text files that
  21. accompanied the fonts.  You should ignore those comments which
  22. refer to installation procedures for Windows, Macintosh or other
  23. systems.

  25. Software that uses these fonts properly will rescale them to your
  26. printer's resolution with no 'jaggies'.  To date, the only word
  27. processor I know of to do this is ProWrite 3.2 or above.  
  28. Excellence! version 3.0 DOES NOT print out compugraphic fonts at
  29. better than screen resolution, though it can use the bitmapped
  30. screen versions.
